Kuldeep Singh

Kuldeep Singh was born and brought up in Noorpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He completed his Bachelor of Science in 2009, and Master of Science in Chemistry from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, India, in 2011. He then joined to the group of Prof. Jitendra K. Bera at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur as a PhD student and submitted his thesis in June 2019. He worked there on "Water Activation Strategies Toward Hydration, Hydrogenation and Oxidation Reactions Using Metal Complexes Bearing Pyridyl Functionalized N-Heterocyclic Carbene (NHC) Ligands". In July 2019, Kuldeep joined Prof. Mark Gandelman group in the Schulich Faculty of Chemistry of the Technion as a postdoctoral fellow, and is currently studying homogeneous catalysis based on Pd and Rh Nitrenium complexes.

Pavel Sakharov

Pavel was born in Rybinsk, Russia (1993). He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees at Saint-Petersburg State University, Russia. Then he submitted a PhD thesis in Mar 2021 at the Saint-Petersburg State University. In August 2022, Pavel joined Prof. Gandelman group at the Schulich Faculty of Chemistry. His project is focused on the chemistry of nitrenium radicals. At his spare time, Pavel loves swimming, cycling and playing badminton.
